Who finds and books loads for me?
Our experienced dispatch team from United States works with trusted brokers to secure the best-paying and most reliable freight for you.
Can I run dedicated lanes or choose preferred regions?
Yes, we try to accommodate your preferred lanes or home time whenever possible.
    Who handles IFTA filings?
Owner-operators are responsible for their own IFTA reporting, but TCI Trucking can assist with filings upon request to make the process easier.
How are taxes handled for owner-operators?
All owner-operators at TCI Trucking are paid on a 1099 basis. This means we don’t withhold any taxes, and each contractor is responsible for managing their own tax payments. At the end of the year, TCI Trucking provides a 1099-NEC form showing total earnings for tax reporting purposes.
What ELD does TCI Trucking use?
We use HOS247, a reliable and FMCSA-compliant ELD system. TCI Trucking provides the device to our leased-on owner-operators, and the cost is deducted from their settlement until it’s fully paid off.
Can owner-operators view each rate confirmation for their loads?
Yes! We are fully transparent. Every rate confirmation is accessible so drivers can see pay rates, load details, and any applicable accessories before pickup. This ensures clarity and confidence in every load.
How are detention or layover times handled?
We always negotiate for detention and layover pay with brokers and pass that directly to our owner-operators.
